Travian Beyond (Update: 21 march 2009)
Travian Beyond is a Greasemonkey script for the online browsergame Travian. I tested this in a Dutch server and a server from the United States.
What is Travian Beyond?
Travian Beyond is a Greasemonkey-script that runs within Firefox. Greasemonkey is a Firefox addon (plugin) that enables you to run scripts that modify sites.
Travian Beyond unlocks some of the paid functionality in Travian.
What happened to the Travian Beyond Greasemonkeyscript from denibol.com?
The official Travian Beyond script (Current version: v2.6c MunLightDoll 2007-08-06) is not working because of a serverupdate. In this update the Travian crew moved some of the images used in Trav Beyond.
Is there a disadvantage to using the script from the original author?
Yes, the original script will get you banned for 1 hour! Multihunters read my website!!!
If the Multihunters (the people that search for cheaters and hackers on Travian) are smart they could catch all “Travian Beyond Classic” from denibol.com users by looking at the 404-file not found errors they generate from each Travian page. I dont know if they are this smart; but I for one don’t want to take the risk.
What to use now? I don’t want to be banned!
I recommend using this version called ML&CN.
This is an updated version of Travian Beyond with working images and more modifications for a better userinterface. It supports the following languages:
ae, ba, br, cn, cz, de, en, es (ar, cl, mx), fr, gr, hu, id, il, it, jp, kr, lt, lv, my, nl, no, pl, pt, ro, rs, ru, si, sk, th, tr, tw(hk)

Notice
Recently this message started appearing. Don’t be alarmed, everbody sees it and clicking it does nothing. If you click it once it won’t come back until you delete your cookies. The notice states:
“Please note that it is not allowed to use scripts that change the gameplay or the user interface.”
Installation instructions
First you should have Firefox ofcourse. Open Firefox and get the greasemonkey addon.
Then click the link or download the file below to your desktop (File - Save As) and drag it on the Firefox window, and click install:
If you dont have Firefox or the above does not work for you:
- 1. Go to the Firefox site and click on “Download now - Free”. (If you don’t have Firefox yet).
2. If Firefox is installed use it to click the green “add to Firefox” button on the Greasemonkey site.
3. Restart Firefox.
4. Click here to install Travian Beyond. Wait a second for a Greasemonkeyscript install window to appear and click on “install”.

Too bad Travian Beyond is broken
It looks like Atkins Meyer did the same thing I did; but his version has known bugs and is not stealth. I still have to research what method he used.

doesn’t work for me, when i try to click on it or when i drag and drop it, it just comes up as a web page.. doesn’t install.

just rename the file from travian3user.js to travian3.user.js
then drag it into firefox

No one has ever been banned using this. The original version from denibol.com did get some people banned; but their version is not stealth.
I have been using this script since 22-04-2008. I won’t state my accountname here ofcourse!
Please note I am not the original author of this greasemonkey script; that’s Victor Garcia. At some point his script stopped working, so I modified his script to Travian Beyond Updated v.0.2 to make it work again. I made my version stealthy.
To achieve this I changed the hostinglocation of the images used by the script.
For the Travian MultiHunters all communication with the server looks normal since all “extra” images are hosted by Lycos.
So, yeah, its safe

Thanks! The original author of this script was a Spanish guy. The things you see in your interface should be in English, but in the script there is still a lot of text to be translated.
Since I am unable to read Spanish I will ask my sister to translate some of it.
Ofcourse you can edit the script to change the language, if you do please let me know.

hello,i recently dl the beyond for travian.i made it work just fine for about 20 mins then all the sudden when i log in it logs into the game but afterwords anything i click kicks me back to the log in screen again.is it something that i can fix? pls note im using firefox and monkeygrease and it worked just fine in the begining.

Hi John!
This error is not caused by Travian Beyond Updated v.0.3.
Still I found a couple of possible solutions you might wanna check:
- reinstall Firefox, Greasemonkey & Travian Beyond Updated v.0.3.
- maybe the login cookie for Travian is deleted. Make sure your browser accepts cookies from the Travian site.
- If you use the NoScript addon for Firefox try disabling it.
- If you use Firebug; rightclick its icon while playing travian and select: “do not use firebug for this site”.

for everyone who has a problem with travian beyond regarding loggin out without ur intention to, one solution worked with me, when you uninstall firefox & reinstall it, make sure not to import any data from internet explorer when requested, i it worked with me & stopped logging out……

That is a very good idea, but I think the problem is that the location of the files will be hardcoded into the script so everyone needs to copy the images to 1 location (e.g. c:\travian\). I might try to do this if I have enough spare time.

I hope that I got wrong… but, truthly… Seems to me that Travian from Brazil know how to make an good anti-scripts and bots…
Waiting for an answear….
PS: I’d play in Brazilian Travian… And I dont want to stay looking in whole W.W.W.(World Wide Web) for a Travian Beyond that work with Brazilian Travian…
btw: Even if it works… Does it work with Last FireFox(I think it is 3.0.1 Beta 2 or 3)

Well, to be honest, the best technique is to simply try it out when you need to leave the computer for one hour anyway.
If you are blocked for one hour its not that bad anyway
If you test it out please let me know if it worked for you. It works for me
It works on almost all recent Firefox and Greasemonkey versions, so I recommend downloading the lastest version.
It works in Win98, 2000/ME, XP and Vista Home or Ultimate.

Hi Tijuk,
Yes it’s 100% virusfree, and because it is opensource you don’t have to take my word for it but you can actually read the sourcecode.
He means to say: “when I dont turn Travian Beyond off a message appears saying: Scripts and Bots are not authorized. You’ve been banned for 1 hour.”
